The Santa Barbara Chapter of Alpha Delta Phi was installed on June 11, 1966. Unfortunately, due to the very anti-Greek opinions permeating the campus, the Chapter was never able to establish a sustaining membership. The Chapter ceased to continue operations in 1971, and the charter for the Chapter was suspended at the Convention in 1971.
