SIGNIFICANCE OF T.S. ELIOT ON MODERN LITERATURE
Vincent Sherry, Ph.D., Professor & Chair, Department of English, Wash U
Born in St. Louis, T.S. Eliot, is one of the most renowned poets of the twentieth century. In this keynote address and literary session, Dr. Sherry will discuss his significance on modern literature from his time as an essayist, publisher, playwright, and literary and social critic.

LOOKING OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER: MENTAL HEALTH & SELF-CARE
Representatives from the RESPECT Institute
Attendees will learn first-hand from members of the RESPECT Institute about how our members can build a community of support for people living with mental illness. participating in the program not only learn the signs and symptoms of depression and suicide while being given the skills and resources that will enable them to seek help from a trusted professional.

BBQ DINNER & LAWN GAMES AT THE ELIOT CHAPTER HOUSE
Join fellow Alpha Delts for an evening of fellowship and competition at the Eliot Chapter House on the campus of Washington University. This social event, to end the first full day of the convention, will include lawn games, cocktails and dinner from local favorite, Sugarfire Smoke House. Shuttles will depart from the hotel at 6:00pm and will depart the chapter house at 9:30pm. Guests will be given two drop off locations - entertainment area near Busch Stadium or back at the hotel. This event is open to guests and spouses.

Giving students the confidence and courage to successfully navigate any situation from job interviews to dates, dinner parties to networking events, and everything in between will give them the advantage.

GUIDED TOUR OF GATEWAY ARCH NATIONAL PARK
Take a ranger-led tour of the Gateway Arch National Park on the banks of the Mississippi River. This optional off-site event is first come, first serve and a schedule ticket is required. Space is limited to 60 attendees in two groups.
