WHAT IS CONVENTION?
The Constitution of the Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity gives Supreme Legislative Power of the Fraternity to the Convention. The Convention has original jurisdiction over constitutional questions and appellate jurisdiction over decisions of the Board of Governors and chapters.

Each chapter must register one (1) delegate and one (1) alternate delegate who shall be student brothers of the accrediting chapter. Each recognized alumni organization shall also designate one (1) alumnus delegate and one (1) alternate delegate who shall be alumni brothers but who need not have been student brothers of the accrediting organization's chapter. ​
WHY IS THIS EVENT VIRTUAL?
Conventions held in odd-years (2027, 2029, etc.) will be hosted virtually rather than in person due to the significant increase in costs associated with hosting a large, in-person gathering. As a fraternity, we have a responsibility to be thoughtful stewards of our financial resources and ensure that funds are used in ways that best support our members and the long-term strength of the organization.
Moving to a virtual format allows us to fulfill the important business and engagement purposes of Convention while avoiding substantial travel, lodging, venue, and event expenses. This decision reflects our commitment to financial responsibility while still providing members with a meaningful opportunity to participate in the governance and future of the Fraternity.

Conventions held in even-years (2028, 2030, etc.) will continue to be hosted in-person.

All brothers, regardless of chapter, are invited to attend the reunion weekend festivities at your own cost.
