  • What programs are offered at the 193rd Convention?
    Over the course of two and half days, we've planned for a meaningful event. The detailed agenda will be related in May 2025.
  • Where is Convention?
    In 2025, Convention will take place in New Orleans, LA. Most events will take place at the Hilton Riverside (Two Poydras St, New Orleans, LA 70130)
  • When is Convention?
    The 192nd Annual Convention will be held from August 1-4, 2024 in Anaheim, CA
  • Will there be virtual options for Convention?
    No, the fraternity will host the Convention to consist of in-person opportunities with enhanced health and safety precautions.
  • Is there a dress code for Convention?
    Yes, most events are business casual but a full dress code list is below: Thursday BOG Meeting Business Casual Thursday Opening Session Casual (Something with ΑΔΦ letters) Friday Session Business Casual Saturday Session Business Casual Saturday Banquet Formal/Black Tie Optional
  • Who can attend Convention?
    All members of Alpha Delta Phi and their families are welcome to attend the Convention however only initiated members and invited guests are able to participate in the business sessions.
  • Who should the chapter send to Convention as its delegates?
    While chapters can send anyone to the Convention as their voting delegate, the fraternity suggests each chapter have an elected officer represent the chapter - preferably the chapter president or vice president.
  • When will I get reimbursed?
    Reimbursement checks will be issued no later than 60 days following convention. Reimbursement is determined based on convention attendance.
  • Is there parking at the hotel?
    Yes, self-parking is available at the Hilton Riverside .
  • How much can I spend on travel?
    Alpha Delta Phi reimburses one person per chapter up to $400 for their travel accommodations. Full details of travel expenses that are eligible for reimbursement can be found in the travel expense policy below:
  • How do I book my travel to convention?
    All attendees are responsible for booking their own travel arrangements to get to New Orleans. For undergraduate delegates seeking reimbursement, travel must be booked before July 15, 2025.
  • How do I submit my travel expenses?
    Each undergraduate delegate (one person per chapter) can submit their travel expenses here. Travel accommodations must be purchased before July 15, 2025 in order to be eligible for reimbursement.
  • What airport should I fly into?
    The best airport to use for your travel should be the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).
  • What is the room rate?
    Alpha Delta Phi has negotiated a discounted room rate of $169 per night (+tax).
  • When can I check in at the hotel?
    Check in begins at 4:00pm. Guests may store baggage with guest services should they arrive prior to check-in.
  • What time is check out?
    Check out is 11:00am. Late check out may be available subject to availability. Check with the hotel front desk on availability.
